There will be a range of new sports on offer next week to celebrate National School Sport week.

Lacrosse, blind football, ultimate Frisbee and tug of war will all be on the timetable as part of the initiative which is being promoted by the Youth Sport Trust to encourage young people to get more involved with sport.

Head of PE James Hooper said: “PE and sport can make a difference to students’ lives and have a positive impact on achievement, school ethos and whole school standards.  Giving students the opportunity to try new sports will engage and inspire them to take part in high quality PE and to enjoy being active.”
