British Biology Olympiad success

Our Sixth Formers picked up some fantastic results in this year’s British Biology Olympiad, a national advanced problem-solving competition for A level students.

Among them was Year 13 student Liam Vingoe who achieved bronze, which places him in the top 25% participants out of nearly 8,500 competitors.

Sonny Lynn and Kaden Haggett in Year 12 both achieved a highly commended, along with Justina Kakstyte in Year 13. A number of other students were awarded a commended.

The British Biology Olympiad presents students with topics and ideas which they are not familiar with, and is designed to challenge and stimulate students with an interest in biology to expand and extend their talents.
