Students make an entrance at Prom - Photo Gallery
Our Class of 2024 kicked off their end-of-year Prom in style, impressing onlookers with their diverse choices of transport.
The Year 11 leavers at Thomas Clarkson Academy arrived at the celebration in vehicles that included sports cars, vintage motors, a motorbike, a quad bike, a lorry and a tractor, while one partygoer even rode up on horseback.
The students’ evening wear was equally dazzling with an array of colourful suits, ball gowns and cocktail dresses on show – a spectacle that was captured by drone for a group photograph on the front field.
Entertainment at the event, which marked the end of GCSEs for the group, included inflatables, a 360-degree camera, and the chance to stage pictures against a backdrop of flowers to commemorate the occasion. The Class of 2024 also enjoyed an all-night disco and a buffet.
