He has also written a number of funny children’s books.

Leader of TCA's Learning Information Centre Debbie Trafford said:Morris Gleitzman is arguably Australia’s leading children’s author, so we were delighted to be invited to one of our partner schools, Corby Business Academy, to meet him.

“Eleven students from Years 7 and 8 travelled with Mrs Trafford, Mr Reynolds and Mrs Mackie in the minibus to hear the author talk.

“He told us how he gathered the ideas for his stories and the ways in which he set the scene for his latest in a series books about Felix, a Jewish boy trying to survive in Poland during World War ll.

“Following a question and answer session, we were able to buy copies of Morris Gleitzman’s books, which the author signed.”
