Charity cake stall in school on Friday

Thomas Clarkson Academy’s newly established Parents In Partnership group will hold its first event – a charity cake stall – in school on Friday 1st March.

Thomas Clarkson Academy’s newly established Parents In Partnership group will hold its first event – a charity cake stall – in school on Friday 1st March.

The cake stall will be running during Lesson 4 (11.50am – 1.15pm) to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Representatives from the Alzheimer’s Society spoke in King and Madiba assemblies on Monday. They explained what dementia is and spoke about how it affects one in three older people at the later stage of their lives.

Students are being asked to remember to bring in spare change to spend at the cake stall on Friday.

Any donations of cakes will be welcomed on Thursday or Friday morning.

Our Parents In Partnership group is made up of parents who want to work with the Academy in lots of different ways. For more information about the group click here or email Sarah Loosemore at sloosemore@thomasclarkson.cambs.sch.uk
