Students at Friday Bridge Community Primary School got the chance to find out more about Thomas Clarkson Academy when Vice Principal Lisa Ling visited to give a presentation.

Mrs Ling visited the school on Tuesday, September 18, to talk about all of the changes at the Academy. She spoke to students about the new building, the new Principal Clare Claxton and the new uniform.

Mrs Ling also answered the students’ questions, which included questions about lunch at the Academy and its three Learning Communities.

Many of the students said they had seen the Academy’s new building and visited its website.

To finish off her visit Mrs Ling invited the students to come along with their parents or carers to have a look at the Academy on its Open Evening, which will take place on Thursday 4th October from 6.30pm.

Mrs Ling said: “It is always a pleasure to visit colleagues and pupils at Friday Bridge.  The pupils were keen to take part in the presentation and had a wealth of interesting comments and questions to share with the TCA staff.

"I look forward to welcoming their parents and carers to the Academy on 4th October at our Open Evening.”
